Overview
Tyrone Weekes was a soulful artist with a powerful voice and a story to share. Before we began working together, he lacked a digital presence which limited visibility for new listeners. Our goal was to create a foundation that allowed his work to live online and be discovered by the audiences he deserved.
The Goal
To give Tyrone a digital home that showcased his music, story, and personality, while providing a simple, elegant platform he could use to reach fans and share his work.
Our Work
Tyrone had never professionally recorded music before his first studio experience at one of Western Canada’s top studios, MCC Recording Studio. Studio owner, and my dear friend Dave Temple, reached out to have me work with Tyrone.
We built a full online presence from scratch: an intuitive website, YouTube channel, and social profiles that reflected Tyrone’s artistry and Barbados roots. We focused on creating a space that was authentic and easy to maintain, allowing his music to truly shine.
The Result
Tyrone was able to share his music more broadly than ever, and CBC played his two songs, Another Sunny Morning and Till Now and Forever, giving him a final, joyful milestone to experience. Unfortunately, his battle with cancer had returned, but he was able to hear himself on the radio - a dream realized just before he passed. The digital presence we created ensures his music and legacy continue to be discovered and celebrated.
